My name is Geoff Martin (obviously; you did come to geoffmartin.wordpress after all) and, contrary to what you might think (what with the flapping Quebec flag in the background), I’m from Ontario. I hail from Elmira, Ontario, to be exact– land of maple syrup (of all different hues) and Mennonites (of all different varieties).
I love reading, eating, and using parentheses (can you tell?). Photography is a burgeoning hobby of mine and I’m trying to write more consistently (hence this blog attempt). I also enjoy the outdoors (MEC is the Toys R Us of my adulthood) and am an avid traveler.
I currently reside in Deajeon, South Korea with my wife, Colleen Daniher. We are teaching English here, and prior to beginning our one year contract in Korea, we were working in San Jose, Costa Rica for six months.
And that’s me (in a nutshell).
